Bond Girls vs.
Austin Power Girls

Warning: contains many, many bad words

If you thought "Pussy Galore" or "Alotta Fagina" were just names, you might be shocked by their meanings. While both Austin Powers and James Bond movies give women sexy names, the Bond girls' names are slightly more sophisticated. But just slightly.

Dr. Holly Goodhead (Moonraker) "To give head" is to perform oral sex.

Alotta Fagina (International Man of Mystery) A deliberate parody of "Pussy Galore" (see left), the pronunciation of this name is like "A lot of vagina."

Ivana Humpalot (The Spy Who Shagged Me) Ivana sounds like "I want to." "Hump" means to have sex.

Dixie Normous (Goldmember) A parody of "Plenty O'Toole." Sounds like: "Dick's enormous." Means: My penis is huge.

Robin Spitz Swallows (The Spy Who Shagged Me) Like Dr. Holly Goodhead (left), this is a reference to oral sex. According to the dialogue, her name was "Spitz" before marriage. "Swallows" is her married name.

Felicity Shagwell (The Spy Who Shagged Me) "Shag" is slang for have sex (not commonly used in the US these days) In the movie, she introduces herself by saying "Shagwell by name. Shag very well by reputation."
